Under the Weatherization Program, owners and renters of mobile or standard homes can apply for insulation and energy conversation services to reduce their energy costs. The Weatherization Program can insulate attics, side-walls, and water heaters, replace broken glass, and caulk and weather-strip to prevent air leaks. Safety inspections and repairs will be made on heating systems if necessary. Funds available average $2,000.00 per household.

Washington and Buchanan Counties, and the City of Bristol, Virginia.

Eligibility/Income Guidelines
Qualified participants must be property owners or renters, and have incomes of 130% or less than Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Priorities
1. Elderly and disabled.
2. Families with children under 18.
3. Documented high energy users.
Landlords must contribute 15% for rental property or be income eligible.
