How to Obtain a Free Credit Report

1. Log on to www.annualcreditreport.com
2.

Be prepared to answer questions about your personal finances, such as the amount of a recent loan payment. This information is used to verify your identity and allow online access to your report.
3. After entering your initial contact information you will need to select one of the three credit report providers to access your report. It does not make a difference which agency you select, Experian, TransUnion, or Equifax.
4.

Once you have accessed your report online select the print report option. Include this printout in your application packet.

How to Obtain a Credit Score

1. Once you have accessed your credit report online, select the credit score option.
2.

Your credit score will cost between $5 and $10, depending on the credit report provider selected, and you can be reimbursed by People Incorporated, up to $10, once your completed application is submitted.
3. Once you have accessed your score online select the print score option. Include this printout in your application packet.

By Phone or Mail

You can request a free credit report by phone, 877-322-8228, or by mail. By mail send the request form to Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281 , Atlanta , GA 30348-5281.

You can request a credit score by phone, Equifax: 1-800-685-1111, TransUnion: 1-800-916-8800, or Experian: 1-888-685-11
Credit reports and scores requested by phone or mail will be mailed to you approximately 15 days after your request is made. The online option will provide you the information immediately.
