The Cars for Work program provides 0% interest automobile loans for eligible Virginia Department of Social Services clients who are moving from welfare to work. The maximum amount of loan per household: $3,000.00.

Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, Washington Counties and the City of Bristol, Virginia. The program also serves Tazewell, Lee, Scott and Wise Counties and the City of Norton, Virginia.

Eligibility/Income Guidelines
Applicants must be referred by the Virginia Department of Social Services.
