The Abingdon Day Care Center, located at 152 Highland Street, Abingdon, offers day care services Monday - Friday, 6 A.M. - 6 P.M. for children ages two through twelve years. The program provides care in a safe, stimulating environment, developmentally-appropriate activities, USDA sponsored Food Service and transportation. Additionally, the Center cooperates with local schools and agencies to assist with achieving developmental goals for children with special needs.

Service Area
Abingdon/Washington County. Transportation to and from school is provided for children attending E.B. Stanley Middle School, Greendale and Watauga Elementary Schools. The center is on the Abingdon Elementary School bus route.

Eligibility/Income Guidelines
Service is available to all income groups based on a sliding fee scale.

Priorities
Children of parents who work or attend school.
