“Champions of Change” -- that’s what one People Incorporated client called us. It is an accolade that invokes themes of struggle and transformation – themes reflected in the changes our clients face in their day-to-day lives. Such change is constant and unavoidable. In times of major change, people may take incredible steps forward or they may sometimes falter. While change can bring great rewards to individuals, families and communities, it is often also a difficult process.
Sometimes people need support in order to be successful, and it is always a good investment for society to support individuals’ successes. Successful people contribute to society, rather than being dependent upon it. Every individual success strengthens our communities and enhances the lives of others.
People Incorporated was created over 43 years ago in the Hayter’s Gap community by individuals who wanted to change the future of their young people for the better, individuals who worked to make opportunities for their children’s success. Today, the agency is a vehicle for helping individuals, families, and communities to be successful in the changes they undertake. People Incorporated is ever-evolving – transforming itself to meet the changing needs of all of the people and the communities that we serve.
We believe in the hopes and dreams of the people in our region, and our advocacy assists in their success. Our agency’s success is ultimately measured by their successes.
